:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from StacyG -- I am not gay, but I enjoyed the book : I was hesitant about reading the book, but I have read and like mfm books along with the fact, i really like the character Jasper. A lot occurred in this book, plot wise and that is the main reason I wanted to read the book. I did not want to miss anything in regards to the story unfolding in this series. Yes, there are intimate sex scenes in this book. In all honesty, I feel like they (Jasper and Trevor) were like any other couple. When they were together romantically, it was very easy to forget it was a gay couple. They were just like any other couple being intimate. The only time I was like eww, was when the author described rimming. But this occurs with heterosexual couples too, it is just my dislike of that sexual activity. Overall, I felt this book was instrumental to the series because it leads to a major decision by Rafael. ( Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2017 )

I can honestly say that this is my first m/m book in a series that I actually like and I've already gone back to read this one twice! I highly recommend you read this and not skip over it if m/m is not your forte. The reason? As in the previous books in this series, Jasper and Trevor's story actually starts a couple of books back before they become the main characters in their own book. If you have purchased the previous novels in this series, I suggest you go back and read the parts that involve these two so you'll get an understanding of where this book picks up. There is an underlying story that has run throughout this series and this further adds to the plot as well previous characters making appearances, so don't skip. I loved Jasper and how much he was stubbornly persistent and protected Trevor even when Trevor didn't want him around. I think my only complaint is that their story was so spread out in the last 2 books that had me going back to re-read their story so I could get the circumstances correct by the time I stared Jasper. Either way, if you've read this far into the series, you'll finally get to see these two come together ( Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2017 )

Jasper is a gay gargoyle and has fallen head over heals in love with the assistant medical examiner, a human named Trevor. The build-up to their love affair starts a few books back, but their story beautifully unfolds in this book. The plot twists and turns and the complexities in not only Jasper & Trevor’s relationship but in several other gargoyle couples makes this book a total winner. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kindle Customer -- The best, sweetest one yet. : I understand some would not appreciate man love but really this is one of the sweetest stories. It takes a bit to get Trevor to finally hear Jasper's side of the story but once he did, Trevor began to come around. Theron turns out to be more evil than we thought. Travis hits a very bad time and with the help of the clan will eventually be okay. Jasper was so patient with his mate. He was willing to just be in Trevor's life as a friend. I really like Lorenzo and Urijah. Sixx has a rough time ahead of him. Loved seeing Com and Lilly. This is a must read. Absolutely loved it!!!! ( Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2018 )

I started this series and have loved every book so far. I normally do not read MM books but the ones I have have been great and this one is no exception. I recommend this series for those who enjoy romance with twists and turns as well as some chaos. Every character I have a deep love for and wish I was part of their family.
